New Remington stuff is junk in my opinion and I wouldn't buy anything from them. I've been looking around, mostly for my kids and am probably leaning towards a Winchester SX3.

This is a common problem with the Stoeger M3000. There is however a very simple fix that will correct the M3000 extraction issue, all for under $35. The Benelli extractor and spring are far better quality and defiantly an upgrade to the M-3000. All you need is the upgraded parts, a punch, hammer, bench block and a few minutes of time.
